Our Story
We’ve been in the business of providing family-friendly entertainment for more than six decades. It’s safe to say that nobody takes fun more seriously than we do!
We got our start in 1958 when James A. Ryan opened an eight-lane bowling alley under a post office in Needham, MA. Today, we’ve grown to 10 locations throughout New England with a diverse mix of traditional and cutting-edge gaming options.
While our offerings may vary by location, one thing is for certain. You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from our team and a relaxed family vibe at every Ryan’s center. We treat our customers like members of our family. In fact, our staff consists of many generations of family members carrying on the Ryan’s tradition. We’re not franchise. We’re not big box. We’re locally owned and operated with a humble headquarters just over the Bourne Bridge on Cape Cod.
AS AN OPERATOR
In our role as an amusement game operator, we are a recognized leader in the industry. We supply and service games to family entertainment centers, hotels, sports bars, campgrounds, and restaurants.
Our service department is on duty seven days a week ensuring maximum revenues for our location partners.
In The Community
Giving back to the communities where we operate is at the heart of our culture. From fundraisers to scholarships, we support our neighbors in numerous ways.
Scholarships
We’re proud to offer $10,000 in scholarships annually to students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. Ten scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000, are available in the communities where we operate. We partner with The Cape Cod Foundation to run this program. Find out how to apply here.
Fundraising Events
Whether it’s an afternoon of bowling for “bigs” and “littles” from the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program or a special evening where we donate proceeds back to a nonprofit, we offer creative ways to raise money, increase fun, and make friends. Learn more here.

Community Spotlight
Bowling + Bling with The Joe Andruzzi Foundation
It’s not every day we have a Super Bowl champ and this much NFL bling in a venue! We had the pleasure of hosting New England Patriots alum Joe Andruzzi and his foundation for an evening of fun, games (and of course, pizza!) for families facing cancer. Joe also brought along his four, that’s right FOUR, Super Bowl rings, which he happily let guests try on. The Joe Andruzzi Foundation offers financial support and “upbeat” events for patients of all ages throughout New England who are facing the disease.
